JW Water Visits Desert View Theater

SBINSIDER REPORTING | December 12th, 2025 To a nearly packed house, the leadership of J.W. Water spoke along with a Cynthia Zwick of Residential Utility Consumer Office (RUCO). The event was sponsored by the SaddleBrooke Political affairs Commision. J.W. water explained that the current goal of JW Water was to consolidate three separate water supply companies into a single entity and when prompted by a question, eventually consolidate all the water companies they own. She also indicated that they have filed a rate case that would increase monthly water rates by 28% in SaddleBrooke. JW Water is also seeking increases in the other water companies they have acquired from Robson Communities which happened in November of 2024-which in turn was purchased by a European based hedge fund. Following on the water rate cases will be case filings to increase the monthly fees for sewer. It was evident by the questions generated that most SaddleBrook residents understood that Robson had been undercharging for both water and sewer for years and that with a change of ownership, prices increases were unavoidable.
