Congressman Ciscomani Visits SaddleBrooke Republicans

BY SBINSIDER EXCLUSIVE REPORTING| April 23rd, 2025

Congressman Juan Ciscomani spoke to a group of about 85 Republican club members in the Vistas dining area of HOA1. Ciscomani spoke about the first months of this Congress and the impact of the new Presidency of Donald J. Trump. The event was a closed to Republican club members only.

Ciscomani’s prepared remarks focused on the changes in the political  environment in Washington DC due to President Trump and the effect of DOGE on the budget process. Most Republican members were shocked at how Democrats were using tax dollars sent to USAID and then recycled for purposes not intended by Congress-at least not openly. Progressive Democrats knew exactly what they were doing by sending money to NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) that then spent the money on progressive causes. USAID was a private piggy bank of the Left for many years and unless Elon Musk had gotten involved would not have been exposed. Unfortunately, despite the fact that the it is assumed to be under the President’s authority to stop that spending, a myriad of Federal judges have intervened to slow down or halt any changes. That lead to Ciscomani discussing the possibly of a legal change to the authority of Federal district judges being able enjoin the entire country when that power is not expressed in the Constitution or the any laws. Judges have accreted the power organically and like many things in DC, was overlooked-until now.

After speaking for about 45 minutes, Ciscomani stayed and answered many questions. Several residents asked about Social Security and the media reporting on the “Trump cuts”. Ciscomani said they are not reducing any benefits but are looking at closing offices with low traffic counts. Medicaid, another huge program that Biden ballooned by covering illegal immigrants and many other expanded benefits would be looked at closely as the evidence of fraud and misuse of funds was evident.

Ciscomani spoke about the CD-6 race in 2026 and how his seat is the number one target of the Democrats for 2026. “Only about 20-25 seats are in the flipping column and Arizona CD-6 is considered the most likely to change, ” said Ciscomani. “If Democrats control the House that is the end of the Trump agenda and the whole impeachment mess will likely start again, ” added Ciscomani. “SaddleBrooke has been outstanding in delivering votes and financial support for my campaign and I am asking that to continue,” said Ciscomani.

Editors note: The majority of the congressional district’s voters  – 74 percent – live in Pima County. About 12 percent live in Cochise County and about 10 percent live in Pinal County, with the remaining 4 percent scattered around Graham and Greenlee counties. The district leans Republican, with 36 percent of voters identifying with the GOP, 31 percent identifying as Democrats and 33 percent who aren’t aligned with either major party.

The Republican clubs of SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch (President, Ken Robinson) combined to host the event and were fortunate to get a piece of Ciscomani’s time. “He is solidly booked every time he returns to Arizona and it happened to work out that HOA1 dining venue was available at a date Ciscomani could attend” said SaddleBrooke Republican club President Gloria Wolf, adding the “HOA1 staff lead by General Manager Vivian Timian did a great job for our meeting.”

Security for the event was provided by the Pinal County Sheriff’s office posse members thanks to Sheriff Ross Teeple.
