Crossfire Hurricane Ravages D.C.

When the alleged Russian connection to President Trump’s 2016 campaign became a huge news story, the folks behind it could not have planned for a better way to take him down. Perhaps he would not resign but his agenda would be dominated by this supposed scandal. From the get go, Trump called, correctly, a hoax. The affair was instigated first by some “Republicans” trying to defeat Trump for the nomination and then picked up by Hilary Clinton operatives who got the FBI to open an investigation, code named ” Crossfire Hurricane.” The name is derived from a Rolling Stones hit single.

Never imagining that Trump would return to office after his loss in 2020 (BTW, where did those extra 18 million votes that Biden got in 2020 go in 2024?) they kept after him with four different criminal prosecutions and a near-miss assassin, just to make sure. But he prevailed, over a hapless Kamala Harris after Nancy Pelosi stabbed Joe Biden in the ribs.

Payback is a bitch and Trump is taking full advantage of his Presidential powers. Not only exacting revenge on his direct enemies at the FBI and the Department of Justice, he has unleashed Elon Musk in an unprecedented campaign to do what Ronald Reagan could not do in 1981, defunding and disempowering the people and organs on the Left. USAID has been a RICO operation for many years, doling out billions of tax dollars to Left-wing causes across the globe and domestically. The cancer of anti-American NGO’s organizing and attacking our own country is being excised expertly and with lightening speed. Of course, the Left is fighting back with their one remaining base of support, the Federal judges who too, believe that conservatives are anathema to “democracy” which really means rule by the elites over the hoi polloi-you and I.

So, Crossfire Hurricane spun out of energy and Trump has created his own huge storm that is overwhelming to witness. Running on fours hours sleep and a dozen Diet-Cokes a day, it seems in two weeks Trump has moved the entire world in his direction. Firing Federal workers (is that even possible!) moving Justin Trudeau out of office, creating a forward oriented foreign policy with a possible purchase of Greenland, taking back control of the Panama Canal, getting Mexico to realize that abusing the US by sending their excess labor north across the border is over and getting American hostages freed from several hostile countries.

All in under three weeks.

Donald Trump learned after his first term that if he was re-elected, there was no time to waste and no boundary he was not going to push. By putting forward cabinet nominees that include several prominent Democrats, he has throw the entire DC swamp chessboard all over the floor.

The Democrats created their own demise. Now they are a leaderless party back to the old sloganeering that President Trump will wreck Social Security etc and it does not wash. Even their reliable media lackeys are being exposed and defunded. Perhaps Fauci and the WHO will try to come up with some catastrophe to try and derail the Trump train. It won’t work. The American people were fooled once by the Biden Democrats, this time they have no message and for the first time in many, many years, no pliable audience.

In politics there are no permanent victories or permanent defeats. Like all mortal men, Trump has a end date and at 79, it looms. But, until he is personally struck down by the calendar, he cannot and will not, be reigned in.
