Fireworks, Food Mark HOT July 4th

VIA SBINSIDER REPORTING| July 7th, 2024

A big crowd surrounded the HOA1 driving range July 4th evening for a night of pyrotechnics. Parking lots were jammed with parents and kids as the Catalina denizens were invited to enjoy SaddleBrooke largess and celebrations.

Temperatures were about 105 degrees at sunset and slowly reached the low 90’s by the time the display was concluded.

SaddleBrooke Patrol controlled the entrance into the HOA1 area this year by parking a patrol truck in the intersection, which worked better to manage traffic and protect the patrol members who were standing in the street waving the vehicles to the correct direction.

One patrol staff remarked “This was much better than previous years as we were better able to direct and stay safe ourselves.”

One small brush fire started from a stray fireworks ember, but it was quickly doused by the alert and able Golder Ranch Fire crew which was stationed at the event for such an eventuality.
